Early 1930s, 1940s; Parker Pen Company – Janesville, WI A vintage Parker fountain pen in bright red, known as "The Big Red", with gold-tone clip and double cap bands. Features a black nib section and original feed, showcasing classic mid-century styling for writing enthusiasts and collectors. Parker Pen Company started manufacturing luxury writing pens in 1888 by George Safford Parker. The Parker Duofold was first introduced in 1921 and was 5.5" long. The one shown here came out a few years later, and is 4.5" long. Along the barrel the pen is imprinted with: Along the barrel the pen is imprinted with: "GEO. S. PARKER–PARKER DUOFOLD–MADE IN USA"
Good vintage condition with surface wear, minor scratches, and light oxidation to metal parts. All the parts are still working although the pen itself is not in working condition. Please refer to photos for more detail on condition.
