1930s/1940s vintage pressed tin toy cannon in green, red, and yellow paint with a black barrel and small lever mechanism. Classic mid-century design with bright lithographed color typical of period American and later Japanese tin toys. Mechanism still works, but unlike its cap gun counterparts, this toy needs a small ball to fire, and it does not come with any ammunition. Good vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, paint loss, and oxidation consistent with age. Has mounting holes that suggests this could be mounted or attached to a larger piece.
