General Antiques and Collectibles Spring Auction
Lot 270:
Description
C-14633
This pair includes a charming miniature glass mug featuring a hand-etched leaf motif and a vintage clear glass bottle molded in the shape of a seated dog. The bottle retains its original metal cap and likely once held liquor or syrup-commonly produced by companies such as J.W. McCoy or Wheaton in the mid-20th century. The mug’s thick glass base and flared rim give it a refined, decorative quality despite its small scale.
Light residue inside the dog bottle; cap shows minor corrosion. No chips or cracks observed on either piece.
Dog is 3.5" H
