c. 1950s-1960s; Landers, Frary & Clark – New Britain, CT Streamlined chrome-plated electric percolator with matching cream and sugar service, presented on a circular serving tray. The Universal Coffeematic features a polished, rounded form with side handle and faceted glass finial, while its copper-tone control panel allows adjustment between "Mild" and "Strong." The base is marked Universal Coffeematic, a trademark of Landers, Frary & Clark, an American manufacturer widely recognized for their innovations in household electrics during the mid-20th century. Landers, Frary & Clark-founded in 1862 in New Britain, Connecticut-produced a wide range of household goods, from cutlery to electric appliances, with the "Universal" brand becoming synonymous with durable and stylish kitchenware of the 20th century.
Shows light surface wear, minor scratches, and oxidation to the tray and control panel consistent with use. Electrical cord present but untested.
