c. 1950s; Arliss Plastics Corporation – Brooklyn, NY Vintage "X-100 Mystery Dart Gun" by Arliss Plastics Corporation, complete on its original illustrated display card. This bright yellow plastic toy pistol includes two suction-cup darts and features talc-powder action that allowed children to "reload" for repeated shots. Card graphics boldly declare "Hits It’s Mark! Leaves a Mark!" and emphasize the novelty of harmless talc-powered play.
Toy and darts remain unused, though the display card shows age wear including creases, surface tears, and edge losses. Rear of card retains Arliss Plastics imprint with reloading instructions.
