– Rectangular cast metal relief plaque depicting the Last Supper in strong, architectural perspective. Christ is centered beneath an arched doorway, flanked by the Twelve Apostles in clustered conversation along a long trestle table. The ceiling grid and receding wall panels create depth, while the foreground table is detailed with loaves, cups, plates, and scattered crumbs rendered in low relief. The surface carries a brass-painted finish over cast metal, with darker recessed areas emphasizing shadow and form. The reverse reveals the raw cast texture and impression of the relief, highlighting its substantial construction and molded detail.
– Framed high school diploma printed in elaborate blackletter type with engraved allegorical vignette at center. The composition features ornate script headings and detailed linework typical of early 20th century educational certificates. Central engraving depicts classical imagery associated with scholarship, surrounded by flowing typographic embellishment. Original printed signatures and school identification remain legible beneath the decorative heading.
– Large-format student certificate issued under the Palmer Method of Business Writing program, featuring dramatic calligraphic masthead reading “Palmer Method” above detailed allegorical engraving. The composition highlights the instructional emphasis on penmanship and disciplined script, with decorative flourishes surrounding the formal student certification text. Gold seal remains present at lower portion.
Surface wear throughout with scattered finish loss, small pitting, and areas of oxidation visible along edges and raised surfaces. Back shows casting irregularities consistent with manufacture. Structurally solid and heavy for its size.
