Group of four mid-century art pottery pieces featuring a mix of decorative and utilitarian forms. The lot includes a large round lidded jar with basket-weave style relief decoration and mottled brown glaze accented with multicolored speckled highlights, a dark brown glazed planter with molded basket texture, a smaller brown glazed bowl form, and a green glazed lid decorated with stylized radiating lines, stars, and crescent motifs. The two unlidded brown pieces are marked Haeger, reflecting the company’s well-known mid-century decorative pottery production.
The large lidded vessel features a rounded body and knobbed lid with textured surface decoration, though the lid rests loosely on the opening rather than nesting into it. The separate green lid likely belonged to a different vessel and displays a glossy green glaze with raised sunburst-style ornamentation.
Shows moderate age-related wear including glaze irregularities and surface marks from handling. The large lidded vessel has two sizable chips missing along the rim as shown, and the lid does not seat into the opening. The green lid exhibits a visible hairline crack.
