Vintage canvas camping water bag printed with the faint but legible Hirsch & Weis branding and eagle logo. Constructed of heavy woven canvas with reinforced grommets at the top and original rope suspension cord threaded through a metal bar. These bags were designed to hold drinking water while traveling or camping—the porous canvas allowing slight evaporation that naturally cooled the contents when hung outdoors.
Shows age-related wear including discoloration to the canvas, fading to the printed graphics, and general staining consistent with use and storage. Rope and metal bar present; interior not inspected for water-tightness.
