Rectangular lithographed cigar tin featuring a central portrait medallion labeled “WEBSTER, ” framed by decorative scrollwork and corner flourishes. The lid artwork includes period iconography—quill pen and scroll—suggesting statesman-inspired branding, while the side panels repeat the Webster name in red cartouches. The underside retains detailed factory and tax district markings reading “Factory No. 153, Dist. Mich.” along with regulatory language regarding stamp removal and reuse.
Shows age-related wear throughout including surface scratches, finish loss, oxidation along edges and seams, scattered rust spotting, and patina consistent with long-term handling. Graphics remain visible despite notable surface wear. Lid closes securely.
