Steel streetcar fare register marked “No. 168,” retaining its original blue painted finish and glass viewing dome. The upper housing encloses the internal counting mechanism, with visible ticket or coin register window to the front and manufacturer’s plate reading “Johnson Fare Box Co., New York & Chicago.”
Significant paint loss, oxidation, and surface wear present; internal mechanism untested; glass panels cracked and scratched.
