Set of four hand-decorated ceramic beer steins featuring raised relief scenes of traditional German tavern life and countryside imagery. Each stein displays dimensional figural panels including seated couples, revelers gathered around a barrel table, village landscapes, and scrolling banner cartouches with German phrases such as “Heit awer Schmer…” and “Ein frohes Herz.” The bodies are finished in warm brown and cream tones with green and red accents, framed by molded border bands at the rim and base. Handles are sculpted in a faux-wood style and bases are marked “Japan.” The set retains its original retail box..
