Cast iron decorative medallion featuring a central eagle with outstretched wings framed within a laurel wreath. The composition is symmetrical and deeply molded, with layered leaf detailing and a stylized base flourish beneath the bird. The reverse is marked “WILTON” and includes integral mounting bosses, indicating intended wall application. The surface retains a dark, textured finish with subtle highlights along raised edges, emphasizing the sculptural depth and patriotic motif.
Shows even surface wear with light oxidation and dust accumulation in recessed areas. Finish remains stable with no visible cracks or breaks. Mounting points intact.
