A matched pair of O.V.B. cast iron clamp-on meat choppers, both bearing the characteristic heavy cast bodies and flared hoppers associated with early 20th century American kitchen hardware. Each retains its original crank arm with turned wooden handle, threaded table clamp, and internal auger assembly. The castings are thick and unapologetically utilitarian—wide mounting jaws, robust thumb screws, and pronounced cutting heads built for repetitive, practical work at the edge of a butcher’s block or farmhouse table.
Both choppers show age-appropriate wear including surface oxidation, finish loss, and minor pitting throughout. Wooden handles display light wear and checking. Mechanisms turn but have not been cleaned or restored; sold as found.
