Matched pair of hand-colored portrait photographs depicting a young man and woman, each presented in substantial mahogany veneer frames with gilt liners. The frames are richly constructed with deep mahogany outer moldings and inner gilt liners featuring delicate foliate patterning.
Frames show scattered finish wear, minor scuffing, and light gilt loss along the inner liners. The portraits display mild surface speckling and age-related toning consistent with period photographic processes. Overall condition appropriate to age and display.
