Framed pair consisting of a devotional print depicting an elderly bearded man bowed in prayer beside a simple meal, and a sepia-toned studio portrait of a woman in dark Victorian dress. The devotional image shows the man seated at a table with clasped hands, head lowered over a thick book (likely a Bible), a bowl with spoon, and a loaf of bread resting on a metal tray. The companion portrait presents a woman in high-collared black dress with subtle embroidered detailing along the bodice. Both works are housed in period-style wood frames with warm brown finishes.
Frames show light surface wear including minor scuffs and edge rubbing. The devotional print exhibits mild surface dust beneath the glazing. The photograph of the woman shows age toning and minor spotting. Glass on the portrait is not currently secured within the frame and will require pin nails to properly set.
