Rectangular black metal serving tray featuring a central illustrated vignette of a farrier’s workshop. The scene depicts multiple figures engaged in horseshoeing activities, with a glowing forge at left, tools and horseshoes scattered across the floor, and several horses being attended to inside and just beyond the stable interior. Rendered in a limited palette of earthy reds, creams, greens, and black linework, the imagery has a graphic, almost woodcut-inspired quality. The tray is bordered by a scalloped rim with a repeating dotted accent along the edge, giving it a subtle decorative frame around the central illustration.
Shows moderate wear including surface scratches, paint loss, and scuffing throughout, particularly along the rim and high points. Some fading and wear to the central image, though still clearly visible.
