Small ceramic trinket box modeled as the Cat in the Hat, rendered in bright gloss glaze with the character’s signature red-and-white striped hat forming a hinged lid. The figure features a playful, animated expression with raised arm gesture, red bow tie, and detailed black-and-white body, with additional Seussian elements visible at the back. The hat opens on a metal hinge to reveal a small interior compartment, designed for jewelry or keepsakes. Underside marked “© & ™ Dr. Seuss 1998 / D&TM Henson 1998 / Designed by MCF, ” confirming licensed production.
Shows light wear including minor scuffs and small paint losses, particularly along the hat edges. Hinge operates smoothly and lid aligns properly. Base shows light handling wear.
