Painted wood side or end table with landscape scene.
Unfortunately, none of us here are well-versed enough in Japanese to translate the maker’s mark on the bottom, but we can read English just fine. This small table was made in Japan and likely once part of a nested set; it features a brick red coat of paint with a scene across the top that depicts a couple that appears to be feeding a crane. A matching serving tray is included.
Exhibits moderate amounts of paint loss throughout and some minor scuffs.
