Item SKU: C-9474
Clear glass snuff jar with faceted sides, topped by a tin lid marked "Quality Snuff – American – Since 1782." These jars were widely used for packaging loose snuff, the heavy glass keeping contents sealed and fresh.
Lid shows surface rust while glass remains clean and intact, a solid survivor from early tobacco packaging history.
