This is a vintage Corning Ware casserole set in the iconic Blue Cornflower pattern, first introduced in 1958 by Corning Glass Works of Corning, New York. The set includes four casseroles with matching clear glass lids, along with two chrome cradle holders. The Blue Cornflower became Corning Ware’s most recognizable and widely collected design, marking the company’s transition into durable glass-ceramic cookware that could move from oven to table. The set consists of square and rectangular casseroles of various sizes, each with molded side handles, decorated with the classic three-flower motif in cobalt blue.
Some light surface wear and faint utensil marks are present from normal use. No cracks noted. Chrome cradle holders show some light oxidation.
