Turn-of-the-century heavy cast iron architectural panel featuring ornate scrolling foliate motifs and a bold rosette medallion. The design is framed with repeating geometric fretwork along the base, lending balance to the swirling ornament above. Originally produced as part of a larger architectural theme, this grate was likely used for the coal chute.
Exhibits moderate patina and some rusting. Please refer to photos for condition.
