Set of three 19th-century pressed glass table pieces including a syrup pitcher with pewter flip-top lid, a flared-foot sorbet or custard cup, and a ribbed pedestal water pitcher. Each piece displays the faceted, paneled molding characteristic of late Victorian pressed glass production. The syrup pitcher features a hinged metal lid with thumb lever, while the water pitcher shows early mold seams and a scalloped base pattern typical of 1870s American design. Together they represent the utilitarian yet decorative domestic glassware of the period. American pressed glass of the late 19th century was pioneered by firms such as Bakewell, Pears & Co., Bryce Brothers, and Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., whose innovations in mold-blown and pressed techniques made decorative table glass widely affordable across the growing U.S. middle class.
Light surface wear and faint clouding in areas; lid on syrup pitcher shows minor oxidation.Water pitcher exhibits a crack near the top of the handle.
