Lot 599:
Description
C-18119
Assorted collection of five pressed and cut glass bowls featuring a range of geometric and floral patterns. Each piece displays unique decorative motifs-from hobstar and crosshatch cuts to paneled and scalloped rims-highlighting the aesthetic diversity of mid century glass production. The set includes both footed and flat-based examples, suitable for use as serving or display bowls, showcasing light beautifully through their faceted surfaces. By the mid-20th century, American and European glasshouses such as Anchor Hocking, Imperial, and Nachtmann continued the tradition of cut-style glass, offering affordable brilliance that echoed the elegance of earlier crystal designs
Overall excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear typical of age; scalloped bowl exhibits chips on rim.
