The piece bears the official Norman Rockwell Museum hallmark on the underside with the inscription "© 1982 The Norman Rockwell Museum Inc. Made in Japan." Part of the early-1980s museum-issued series, The Kite Maker exemplifies Rockwell’s signature warmth and narrative detail, re-created in porcelain for collectors by Japanese artisans under museum license.
Excellent overall with clean paint surfaces and intact glaze. No visible chips or cracks.
