This is an original Excelsior Printer No. 73-an early tabletop printing press designed for home use-mounted in a frame for display. The piece includes its colorful lithographed instruction card, which advertises the "Complete Outfit for Printing Cards, Tags, Envelopes &c." and offers detailed directions on setting type with tweezers. A classic example of late 19th- to early 20th-century personal printing technology, preserved as a decorative and historical artifact.
Printer and lithographed card show mild age toning and light wear consistent with age. Frame has minor scuffs along edges. The piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
