This colorful tin lithograph electric phonograph was produced by the Lindstrom Corporation of Bridgeport, Connecticut, as Model N. 777. Likely dating from the 1940s to early 1950s, this charming children’s record player features a bright red and yellow body with whimsical gnome and clown illustrations parading around the sides. The oversized yellow tonearm and metal turntable accentuate its playful design. It was built to run on 115 volts AC with a 50-watt maximum input.
Significant surface rust on both litho panels; paint wear and scratching present on tonearm and housing. The felt on the platter shows fraying and distortion. Electrical cord is intact and the motor works, but needs TLC to operate smoothly. Will require new needle.
