This U.S. military service medal features a gold-tone eagle at the center surrounded by a barbed wire crown of thorns motif, symbolizing captivity and sacrifice. Includes a black, white, and red striped ribbon and matching ribbon bar, both mounted on a display card. Awarded to service members taken prisoner during armed conflict.
Shows light wear from handling and storage. Missing one brass pin stopper for securing the bar to a garment.
