Glazed ceramic wall-mounted salt box decorated in classic blue and white floral motif reminiscent of traditional onion pattern designs. The cylindrical body features raised molding at the upper band and a flared footed base, with cobalt blue scrolling foliage encircling the body. The piece is fitted with a hinged wooden lid and carved wooden backplate with clover-shaped cutout, allowing for wall mounting. Interior remains fully glazed, with two small wooden stop pegs visible where the lid rests.
Shows light surface wear to the wooden lid and backplate including minor scuffs, along with faint interior residue and small surface marks consistent with kitchen use. No visible cracks observed in the ceramic body; glaze remains bright and intact.
