Heavy brown leather saddle retaining original maker’s badge reading “Bozick & Co. Saddlers – Southern Pines, N.C.” Traditional English-style form with deep padded seat, forward-cut flaps, leather girth straps, and attached stirrup leathers (stirrups not included). The leather shows a rich, broken-in surface with visible grain, shaping at the seat, and wear consistent with regular riding use.
Leather exhibits creasing, scuffing, edge wear, and darkened areas from age and handling. Minor cracking and dryness visible in spots, particularly along flap edges and straps. Metal hardware shows oxidation and patina. Structurally solid overall; sold without stirrups.
