Matched pair of cast brass figural candle holders modeled as standing cherubs supporting fluted candle sockets over their shoulders. Each figure stands in contrapposto with draped cloth at the waist, detailed curls, and defined musculature. The brass retains a warm aged tone with areas of green oxidation settled into recesses, highlighting sculptural details. Undersides are hollow with open bases and one marked “PAT. PEND.” along the rim.
Surface wear, oxidation, and scattered verdigris present throughout, particularly around bases and candle cups. No visible cracks or structural breaks. Both stand evenly with consistent age-related patina.
