Solid cast bronze bookends in flask-form silhouette, each featuring a raised American eagle with outstretched wings beneath a ring of stars and a flowing banner motif. The oval border is ribbed, and the design terminates at a stepped plinth base. The backs are recessed and unadorned, revealing the raw cast surface.
Both retain consistent patination with surface oxidation and light edge wear. No visible cracks or structural damage; bases sit evenly with minor scuffing to undersides from shelf use.
