Multi-Estate Spring 2026 Auction
Lot 220:
Description
C-19246
Traditional fireplace bellows constructed of stained hardwood panels and black leather gusset, accented with a brass eagle emblem mounted to the front face. The wood body features a rich, warm finish with visible grain, tapering toward a brass nozzle tip. The leather sides are secured with evenly spaced metal tacks, forming the expandable air chamber. A leather hanging loop remains attached at the handle end. The central air port is visible on the reverse panel, and the brass nozzle shows light age toning.
Shows surface wear consistent with age including minor scuffs to the wood, oxidation to metal tacks, and natural creasing to the leather. No cracks observed in the wood panels. Leather remains intact and air flows properly when compressed. Sold as found.
