Wall-mounted wooden shelf featuring a pierced back panel centered with a stylized lyre form framed by scrolling foliate elements. Carved leaf details flank the central motif, rising into a pointed crest that gives the piece a distinctly Gothic Revival influence within its broader Victorian aesthetic. The shaped display shelf projects forward with a softly curved front edge, supported by a carved bracket below that mirrors the organic leaf forms above. Finished in a dark stain, the surface highlights the crisp negative space of the fretwork and the architectural balance between ornament and structure.
Shows age-appropriate wear including surface scratches, finish loss along edges, and light handling marks. No major breaks observed in the pierced sections. Mounting method not inspected. Sold as found.
