Pair of hand-carved wooden clogs with traditional rounded toes and raised heels, formed from solid blocks of hardwood. The exterior surfaces retain visible tool marks with horizontal carving striations across the vamp and sides, emphasizing their hand-shaped construction. Interiors are hollowed with a smooth, worn cavity consistent with functional use. The wood has darkened over time to a rich brown tone with natural patina and surface variation throughout. Small punched holes appear on the sides of both clogs, likely added later for display or hanging purposes. The soles show expected wear from ground contact, reinforcing their original utilitarian role rather than decorative intent.
Shows age-related wear, surface darkening, and minor edge chipping consistent with use. Punched side holes present on both examples. Structurally solid.
