The set features contrasting light and dark stained pieces with classic tournament-weighted profiles, including crisply defined knights and traditional crowned kings and queens. The accompanying wooden storage box retains its sliding lid, inset with a round Cavalier medallion, reinforcing the set’s mid-century presentation and purpose-built design.
