Glazed ceramic novelty planter modeled as an early pickup truck, rendered in a soft green glaze with hand-applied red accent striping. The stylized cab, open rear bed, and simplified wheel forms place the piece firmly within the Art Deco–era tradition of figural and novelty ceramics, where everyday objects were reimagined as playful decorative forms. The glazing shows fine age-appropriate crazing, and the molded details retain strong definition, giving the piece a balanced mix of charm and graphic presence.
Shows surface wear consistent with age, including glaze crazing, minor glaze losses along edges and raised details, and wear to the base corners. No cracks or repairs observed; presents well overall.
