A late 19th century American Eastlake style rocking chair featuring a tall back with a deeply carved crest rail in stylized foliate motifs. The back is supported by turned spindles, while the square cane seat sits above simple but sturdy turned stretchers. The rockers are long and well-balanced, giving the chair a gentle and even motion.
Overall great condition but the caning of the seat has sustained some damage and should be repaired.
