An American Eastlake style side chair, dating to the 1880s. Crafted in turned and carved wood, the chair features a square cane seat, a tall back with a crest rail incised with a shell-and-scroll motif, and spindled supports with reeded and ring-turned detail. The front stretcher carries matching turned embellishments.
Chair is in overall great condition with minor wear to the edges.
