An American Eastlake style armchair dating to the 1880s. Constructed in turned wood with a cane seat, the chair features a tall back with incised geometric and foliate carvings, ball finials, and a crest rail centered by a carved shell. The seat frame and lower stretcher incorporate additional carved and turned detail.
Chair is in good condition but some of the joinery comes loose. The chair can be sat on and is sturdy.
19.5"W x 22"D x 43"H. Seat is 18"H.
