Flow blue round covered vegetable dish with floral decoration.
This semi-porcelain dish by Stanley Pottery features a rounded body on a shallow pedestal base with twin scroll handles and a domed lid capped by a curled finial. Rich cobalt transfers of floral sprays soften into the body through the flow blue process, framed by a wide cobalt border along the rim. Traces of gilt highlight the handles and edge, underscoring its Victorian decorative flair. Designed for serving vegetables or side dishes, this form balanced utility with a bold table presence, in keeping with the Staffordshire tradition of ornate yet functional dinnerware.
Interior stilt marks and has one replaced handle that is a bit more discolored than the rest of the piece.
