This mid-century artisan sculpture features two hand-cut copper butterflies poised on a knotted burl wood base, their wings delicately flame-painted in vibrant tones. A whimsical fusion of organic and industrial design, evocative of 1960s California studio art.
One butterfly has been damaged and is no longer attached. It appears a previous owner may have attempted a home repair to the piece.
