This piece was used on an active Soviet submarine during wartime. The clock is contained in a steel frame with a durable glass face shield protecting the front of the clock, which depicts an illustrated graphic of a Soviet sub. Numbered 6,226/10,000. The clock’s mechanical movement is by Vostok, a Soviet company established in 1942 in Chistopol, Tararstan. After the war, Vostok began making wristwatches, and are still in production today.
This clock has not been tested but appears to be in great condition, with only very minor scuffs to the exterior paint.
