Pair of mid-century watercolor prints titled “Village Street” and “Main Street” by American artist William McK. Spierer (1913–1965), depicting tree-lined residential and commercial streets in his characteristic small-town style. Both are signed in the image and additionally pencil titled and signed beneath, matted and framed under glass.
Both prints show age-related toning and moisture marks visible beneath the glass. Mats have discoloration and scattered spotting. Glass shows surface wear and soiling. Frames are sturdy with substantial scattered paint loss, chips, scratches, scuffs, and edge wear, particularly along the outer gilt trim. Backing paper shows age-related discoloration, punctures, tears, and general wear.
