Painted musical figurine depicting the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, shown mid-exclamation with raised arm and scepter, standing atop a round plinth inscribed “Off with her head!” The figure is rendered in vivid red, white, blue, and gold tones, with detailed costume elements including patterned skirt panels, gold crown, and stylized facial expression capturing the character’s exaggerated, commanding presence. Mounted on a rotating base, the piece houses an internal wind-up music mechanism, with visible Sankyo “Musical Box – Made in Japan” label affixed to the underside. The figure turns smoothly during operation, combining motion and music in a classic collectible display format. Plays "Pop! Goes the Weasel."
Excellent working condition with music mechanism functioning properly and rotation operating smoothly. Shows minimal surface wear with light scuffing to base and minor handling marks.
