Pair of early Mattel dolls including a 1960 Matty Mattel boy doll and a companion girl doll. Dolls feature molded faces, rooted hair, and cloth bodies with attached clothing. The boy represents early Mattel character production, while the girl is an early companion or toddler style doll produced during Mattel’s expansion into family themed play figures prior to established character lines.
Shows moderate wear. Surface wear, scuffs, and handling marks present; discoloration and staining visible to the fabric legs; hair shows wear and fraying; clothing shows wear consistent with age; overall condition consistent with early play use.
