c. 1900s/1920s; Waterbury Clock Co. – Waterbury, CT Porcelain china mantel clock with floral transfer decoration, gilt highlights, molded Rococo style detailing, and hinged bezel door over enameled dial. Retains original Waterbury Clock Co. Parlor No. 74 label and visible brass movement. Decorative china clocks of this type were popular parlor and mantel pieces in early 20th century homes.
Craquelure, surface wear, gilt loss, scratches, and scattered discoloration present throughout. Small edge chips and finish wear visible to porcelain body. Movement and chime function not tested.
