c. 1940s; General Electric – Bridgeport, CT Bakelite General Electric tabletop radio with Streamliner styling, horizontal tuning dial, and molded cabinet with cream colored knobs. Compact radios of this type became common household fixtures during the early postwar period as radio broadcasting expanded across American homes.
Surface wear, scratches, staining, and age-related wear present throughout. Attached plug remains present with visible corrosion. Untested.
