c. 1940s/1960s; Columbian Steel Tank Co. – Kansas City, Ribbed steel lube oil can with dual side handles, screw-top lid, and embossed markings including “Lube Oil Can” and “Capacity 10 Liquid Gallons.” Heavy-duty cans of this type were commonly used in industrial shops, service stations, and agricultural settings for bulk lubricant storage and dispensing.
Surface wear, oxidation, scratches, and denting present throughout consistent with use. Retaining chain for lid is broken. Lid opens as intended.
