Early 20th century Wooden accordion-form drying rack with expanding slat construction mounted to a cast iron base. Folding mechanism allows rack to collapse flat or expand outward for hanging garments, linens, or textiles. Base retains decorative cast feet with embossed detailing.
Surface wear, scratches, and finish loss present throughout wood elements. Cast iron base shows oxidation and rust. Folding mechanism functions properly with expected play from age and use.
Measures 64"W x 64"D when folded down. When folded up, the height of the rack is 84"H.
