c. mid-20th century; American manufacture Group of four fireplace tools including poker, brush, shovel, and one additional tool with threaded end. Black iron shafts with brass finials and handles. Fireplace tools of this type were commonly used in domestic hearths, with mixed metal construction providing durability and decorative appeal.
Surface wear, paint loss, and oxidation present throughout. Brush shows wear to bristles. One tool is missing its end piece. General age-related wear consistent with use.
